Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) PrU Summit Safety Measures
PrU Summit – October 7-9, 2021 Sheraton Atlanta Hotel
We regard the health and safety of everyone participating in the AAWC PrU Summit of paramount importance. Any measures that are put in place at the event will be to ensure the safety and comfort of all those onsite.
We are currently operating in line with government guidance - full details are available on their website and can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/going-out.html
In accordance with the Executive Order issued by Atlanta, GA Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on 07/28/2021, all persons attending the Summit are required to wear a mask or a cloth face covering over their nose and mouth when indoors. We especially encourage those who are not yet fully vaccinated or have a weakened immune system, to social distance.
Marriott, which owns and operates the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, also has their own guidelines and safety measures with which we are aligned, you can find them here: https://clean.marriott.com/
Summit attendees should review government guidance to confirm eligibility to travel & stay at hotel. See https://travelguidance.marriott.com/
The guidelines in relation to events are being constantly updated and we will continue to ensure that the measures that are put in place are clearly communicated as we approach, and while at, the event.
